Conference Championships
The Poofs and Killers each put up convincing wins, and will move on to face the Goliaths and Clusters respectively.
Week 15 Results
- The Poofs beat the Ants pretty handily, when only one of the Ants big 3 (JSN) had a game worth talking about.
- In the battle of who can scrouge the best QB off the waiver wire, the Killers won big with Lawrence literally having the game of his career. The Mongoose' Sanders, on the other hand, played like a rookie QB in Cleveland.
- Fantasyland squesked by the Bears with a big game from Stafford, despite the Bears' Lamb and Nacua having great numbers (but sadly, no TDs).
- It was Yacht Rock's turn to get 6 bonus points from their kicker, on their way to mule-kicking the Swamp Donkeys.
Week 16 Preview
- The Killers get to face the Clusters for the third, having lost the first two games. The Clusters are without Mahomes, but somehow I think Dak will do fine.
- The Poofs go up against the Goliaths, who haven't won a game since week 12 (when they beat the Clusters!).
- The Fireants and Mongoose get to play for the middle, and the 5th pick.
- Fantasyland and Yacht Rock will play for the top pick.
- The Bears will try to show our rookie owner what it's like to pick 4th, after the hot rookie running backs and extra keepers no one could trade are gone.
*With, argubably, the best team.**
**Unless the Bengals decide not to risk Burrow just to play spoiler.
***The number of times the Killers' opponent has had multiple field goals over 51 yards this year must be a record. Thanks to the concept of "reversion to the mean", the Killers should be totally safe from long FGs in the playoffs (right?).
****Which is probably(?) different than calling this a guaranteed win, and thus not subject to the EDFL version of the Madden Curse. Maybe.
